Mexico

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in mexico throughout this documentary. I’ve traveled from the furthest west point on the border where tijuana and san diego share the pacific ocean all the way to the furthest east point of the border that ends at the gulf of mexico , ending in playa bagdad.

I’ve crossed over the river from guatemala to mexico and traveled to tapachula which is the southernmost major city in mexico that is a major stopping ground for migrants all over the world who are making the trek up to the united states. this city in particular left a large impression on me as it was remarkable to see a city that was truly consumed by the number of migrants occupying the city streets, town square and more.

i’ve personally driven the length of the northern border that mexico shares with the united states with key areas including tijuana, tecate, nogales, juarez, piedras negras, and matamoros. mexico is a beautiful country and is the last stopping point for nearly all the migrants before they cross over the border into the united states.
