Length of border with Mexico: 372 Miles

The arizona part of the border with mexico is comprised nearly entirely of desert land with long stretches of miles of the border wall separating the united states and mexico.

The main ports of entry for arizona are located in yuma and nogales where i witnessed and captured many crossings with migrants crossing primarily around open areas of the wall. I also documented a migrant lady going over the wall in nogales with the help of coyotes who climbed the wall and helped her go up and down the posts.

in lukeville i found entire ports of entry and border checkpoints closed wtih no border patrol agents staffing the locations. i also found large amounts of border patrol wall supplies that were collecting cobwebs from the stoppage of the border wall.

There are also wide areas of arizona where the wall is just a simple barbwire fence.
